My first memory of lavender was when a friend invited us over for dinner. Outside was a large field of purple blue flowers, I remember asking "what kind of flowers are they"? lavender she said. From that time forward I loved the fragrance and I have tried to capture the essence for you in my soap. NATURAL ANTIBACTERIAL ESSENTIAL OIL SOAP

4 CROOK'S SOAP

4 Crook's is a recipe handed down from a 15th century during a period of dire illness in medieval Europe. It was said to be caused by transmission of flea bite from infected rats. The story goes that there were four crook's ( theive's, robber's by night, perfumers by day ), who developed a blend of herbs and essential oils diluted in vinegar which they doused their bodies in before making contact with the dead and dying. It was said that the concoction somehow kept them from obtaining the sickness while stealing gold, money and jewelry from the afflicted. Once they were apprehended the King offered them leniency if they shared the secret and they did.

On a more positive note we are not theive's. We blend our own modern day essential oils and use it for this magnificent handmade soap. I also use my own 4 crooks oil blend concoction in my room diffuser at home whenever anyone is sick or if the house has a funky odor. I drop a few drops on my vacuum filter before sweeping to refresh the space and to eliminate and unwanted critters the vacuum picks up like fleas, mites etc. I especially use and diffuse it at hotels my husband and I frequent, while doing shows when out of town to kill airborne bacteria and molds.

The soap is magnificent and very skin moisturizing. Whenever there are sick people in my home out comes 4 CROOKS and soap. Personally, I like it anytime in between because I am a clove and cinnamon fan. Did you know that Clove is a very strong germicide which is why they use it to control tooth bacteria. It is also used as a natural insect repellent for horses.
